ManyChat pricing in 2026: what it costs once your list grows
ManyChat's contact-based pricing looks cheap at 500 contacts and very different at 25,000, across ten client accounts. The tiers, the overages, and the agency math, checked August 2026.
ManyChat pricing starts at free, moves to a Pro plan that begins around $15 a month, and climbs from there based on one number: how many contacts your automations have touched. That number only grows. This is a breakdown of what you will actually pay, checked on August 10, 2026.

How the plans are structured
The Free plan covers up to about 1,000 contacts with basic automation on Instagram and Messenger. Pro unlocks the full feature set and scales with contacts. Elite is the custom-priced enterprise tier.
Since March 2026, ManyChat has also been running a second plan family in parallel (Essential, Pro, Business, Advanced, listed by trackers at $17, $39, $99, and $199 monthly, cheaper on annual billing). Which model you get depends on when your account was created. Yes, that means two accounts can pay different prices for the same thing.
The number that bills you: active contacts
A contact is anyone who has interacted with your automations. Two properties make this expensive:
- Contacts accumulate. The count does not reset monthly, per ManyChat's help center. Last year's giveaway participants still sit in this year's bill.
- Success is the multiplier. Comment-to-DM campaigns exist to create contacts. The better they work, the faster you move up a tier.
Overage fees apply on the newer plans when you pass your tier mid-cycle; trackers list them at up to $0.10 per extra contact depending on plan and billing period.
Why agencies feel it most
Each client account carries its own subscription, and each subscription scales with that client's list. Ten clients averaging 2,500 contacts is around $450 a month, and the figure trends up because lists only grow. There is no agency-wide flat rate on the public pricing page; at scale you are negotiating with sales.
The uncomfortable part: pruning contacts to control the bill means deleting the audience your campaigns were built to collect.
What is not in the sticker price
- WhatsApp. Meta charges per conversation on top of your subscription, and rates vary by country and message category.
- Overages, as above, if a campaign spikes mid-cycle.
- AI features. Trackers describe the pricing as unclear; confirm before building on them.
Where we stand
Bleam charges a flat rate per connected Instagram account: about $3 a month for scheduling only, about $17 with AI content generation included (Rp 50,000 and Rp 299,000, billed in Indonesian Rupiah). No contact counting. But it generates and schedules content; it does not automate a single DM. If chat flows are the product you sell, ManyChat or a chat-first alternative is still the right tool.
